As an Executive Director and Global Digital Advisor at Microsoft, he isÂ driving disruptive digital transformation for Microsoft‘s strategic global customers across industries. He accelerates customer engagement, employee empowerment, operations optimization, product and service transformation â€“ and re-imagines business models and industries.
Previously, JR was a Senior Leader of IBMâ€™s strategy practice where he managed the entire consulting lifecycle including identifying and selling engagements, managing executive relationships, developing reusable intellectual capital, recruiting, coaching and overseeing global initiatives including driving the Transformation of an $18 billion business, resulting in measured operational margin improvements of $510 million.
Earlier, he led the Chicago and Toronto offices of a digital strategy consulting firm, as Gemini Consulting (now Capgemini) foremost e-business expert, he spearheaded the creation of its e-business practice in the United States, and was a successful entrepreneur.
JR has taught strategy, digital transformation, and M&A at the graduate level at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, DePaul University in Chicago, and at the University of Phoenix.
JRÂ Geoffrion completed theÂ Wharton SchoolÂ International Management Program, holds anÂ MBAÂ from the Schulich School of Business, and graduated from theÂ Engineering ScienceÂ program at the University of Toronto.
